How to check your car’s battery life

September 21, 2022 By Rokkit

With your car’s battery having a life expectancy of 3-5 years, it goes without saying that this important component of your car will need to be replaced at least once during ownership of your car.

Many factors aid towards the health of your vehicle battery – assuring you don’t leave unnecessary lights on when not driving, leaving your vehicle to stand for long periods of time, the type and age of your vehicle, your sound system and specific weather conditions. Batteries become weaker over time, and will essentially need replacing.

Frequent battery tests using a multi-meter tool to measure the voltage and current levels can indicate when your battery needs replacing.

The SmartCharge device can assist you during your holiday should your battery run flat.
